Dr. Heraldo Otero, DMD
Dr. Haraldo Otero is an experienced and compassionate dentist with over 30 years of clinical excellence in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while building long-lasting relationships rooted in trust and education. Dr. Otero earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University School of Dentistry and completed a General Dentistry Residency at the Hillsborough County Dental Research Clinic. He has pursued advanced training in implantology, aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and sleep apnea therapy, allowing him to provide comprehensive and interdisciplinary care tailored to each patient’s needs. For more than 25 years, Dr. Otero owned and operated a successful private practice in Orlando, where he became known for his clinical precision, thoughtful treatment planning, and commitment to mentoring dental teams. His experience spans both private practice and multi-practice environments, giving him a well-rounded perspective focused on continuity of care and clinical excellence. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Otero is passionate about clear communication and ensuring every patient feels informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment decisions. He takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, functional, and beautiful smiles that support long-term oral and overall health.
Dr. Sohia Mangonon, DDS
Dr. Sophia Mangonon grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida before heading to dental school at Midwestern University in Arizona. Growing up in a close family, she was taught the importance of kindness, respect, and building meaningful relationships, which she brings into every aspect of her practice. Outside of the office, Dr. Mangonon enjoys baking, photography, and staying active through yoga and Pilates. She's a proud Miami Heat fan and loves watching basketball games. With a caring and warm demeanor, Dr. Mangonon's philosophy is simple: to treat every patient with the same care and respect she would show to her own family.
Dr. Michael Bergquist, DMD
Dr. Michael Bergquist, originally from Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, is a dedicated dentist with a passion for improving oral health. As the youngest of four siblings, he learned the value of hard work and community early on. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University. In his spare time, Dr. Bergquist enjoys beachcombing, basketball, golf, and chess. A lover of history and culture, he relishes traveling to explore new places. He prefers series over movies and enjoys meals rich in protein with no carbs. Above all, Dr. Bergquist is committed to providing reliable solutions to his patients' oral health challenges.
